Release of collectible coins E. SERKEBAEV and AINALAIYN
The National Bank of Kazakhstan announces the issuance of collectible coins E. SERKEBAEV 100 JYL from the series "Outstanding Events and People" and AINALAIYN from the series "From the Heart to the Heart." The sale of these collectible coins will begin through the NBK online store on May 28, 2026.
About the collectible coin E. SERKEBAEV 100 JYL
The collectible coin dedicated to Ermek Bekmukhamedovich Serkebaev (1926-2013) pays tribute to the outstanding Soviet and Kazakh opera singer, educator, and actor. Serkebaev was a People's Artist of the USSR and Hero of Socialist Labor. His talent shone in his performances of the roles of Figaro in the opera "The Barber of Seville" and Abai in the eponymous national opera.
The design of the coin features a portrait of E. Serkebaev. The coin is made of a melchior alloy (МН 25), weighs 15 grams, and has a diameter of 33 mm. The quality of the coin is brilliant uncirculated, its denomination is 200 tenge, and the mintage is 7,000 pieces.

About the collectible coins AINALAIYN
The AINALAIYN coin features a composition recreating a patchwork quilt. Surrounding rows of the word "AINALAIYN" create the illusion of movement from the edges to the center. In the central part, against a stylized ornament representing the sun, there is an element of "Heart." This composition symbolizes the deep meaning of the Kazakh word "Ainalaiyn," which is associated with warmth, love, and care.
The AINALAIYN coins are produced:
- From 925 silver, using color printing technology and rainbow coating, weighing 31.1 grams, with a diameter of 38.61 mm, quality "proof," denomination 1,000 tenge, mintage of 3,000 pieces;

- From a melchior alloy (МН 25), weighing 15 grams, with a diameter of 33 mm, quality brilliant uncirculated, denomination 200 tenge, mintage of 10,000 pieces.

All mentioned types of collectible coins will be accepted at their face value throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan for all types of payments, including deposits to bank accounts, transfers, change, and exchange.
